Jacobina was commissioned to paint a mural for the new Robert and Judi Prokop Alumni Center at the University of Miami, Florida. The wall measures 6 x 13 meters or 37 x 20 feet. The first draft was presented in January of 2009 and the mural finished in October 2010. Having been an Artist in Residence in the Manasota Beach Club for more than twelve years, Jacobina moved her studio from the Indianapolis Art center to a studio/gallery in Englewood Florida. She has been able to establish a following in this area and feels connected to the tropical setting.
