While most people feel like their drawing skills are inadequate, it is a learnable skill, just like driving a car. Progress takes the form of practice: skills get refined and new techniques and applications into daily life can be discovered.
Jacobina offers classes in her Studio and in the new Educational Program of the Stutz Artists Association. There is a figure drawing class on Thursdays from 6-8 pm and a Plein Air painting class on Saturday from 12-4 pm. Fee $15 per hour per person for groups.
If you dream of escaping your daily routine, a week in a resort can provide needed sanctuary. In the beautiful setting of the Manasota Beach Club, Jacobina will teach you how to unlock your inner artist. This class meets for five days in January 2009.

Class is 9 am to 12 pm each day. In the morning are intense basic exercises, in the afternoon you are on your own. The week ends with an exhibition for students.

Prices are the same for all cottages; accommodations are first come first serve. One week from January 18 through January 24 2009 costs per person $2,100.Sharing room with a friend $1,800. Classes only $300.
